Christmas Eve arrive
to a traditional Homemade Northumbrian High Tea, join in our Crafty Corner and enjoy making those last minute christmas baubles, decorations, and ginger break houses. Then join your fellow guests for a sing along with our traditional Carol Singers who will herald the season before and during a 3 course table d'hote dinner
Christmas Day
Wake up to see wgat Santa has left you then join fellow guests for a traditional Buffet Breakfast, before strolling in the grounds
A festive 4 course traditional Christmas Day lunch will be served including a visit from Santa with presents for the youngsters.
Spend the afternoon relaxing to a Matinee show, with big screen movies, popcorn and sweetie bag
Later that evening enjoy the Christmas Day buffet of hot and cold dishes, with |Movie Quiz
Boxing Day
After a traditional breakfast, try your hand at our indoor "pitch and putt" , spend time in the games area or simply relax poolside.
Later enjoy a sumptuous 3 course dinner with local entertainment for a sing a long

New Year’s Eve
Wake up to a Northumbrian brreakfast!
Take in the Northumberland air, and stroll in the grounds or relax poolside. Take a light soup and sandwich lunch and then get yourself in the party mood. Champagne and canapes served at 7pm, then take your seats for a 5 course celebratory gala dinner in the magnificent Grand Hall and be entertained by our live band and disco, or for the families join in our family New Year celebrations, enjoying non alcoholic cocktail followed by a traditional Carvery dinner with disco
New Year's Day
A traditional Breakfast served late. Join in the Derwent treasure hunt, try your hand at indoor pitch and putt or spend time in the games area or simply relaxing poolside. This evening a grand 3 course buffet of hot and cold dishes with musical entertainmnet and sing a long
